WORKSHOP BOOKINGS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By using this website and booking a mosaic workshop, you agree to accept these terms and conditions.
INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS
Mosaics by Jo will provide the materials, tools and tuition for all workshops.
Refreshments will be provided but attendees with dietary requirements will need to bring their own and Mosaics by Jo cannot accommodate or be held responsible for any food allergies.
Mosaics by Jo undertakes to provide the mosaic workshops for participants with all reasonable care and skill.
Mosaic workshops will be planned in accordance with my promotional materials; however, I reserve the right to make variations to the materials.
All workshops are subject to availability and are on a first come first served basis. Bookings are not confirmed or finalised until you have received a confirmation email from Mosaics by Jo.
Workshops will start on time so please aim to arrive for this to be possible. However, please don’t arrive more than 15 minutes before the start of the workshop.
When you book, it is your responsibility to ensure that the details you provide are correct. You must inform me of any changes to the details as soon as reasonably possible.
Workshops are not deemed suitable for children due to the thickness of the ceramic tiles and difficulty in cutting these. Any children attending must be over 13 years of age at the time of the workshop and accompanied by a paying adult.
Workshops are not deemed suitable for anyone suffering joint pain or stiffness in their hands due to the thickness of the ceramic tiles and difficulty in cutting these.
Mosaics by Jo may take photos or film during the workshops for use in social media and other marketing and will seek the consent of attendees beforehand. Attendees should not take photos or film anything or anyone other than themselves or their own work during the workshop as it is a breach of privacy.
If minimum numbers are not reached to hold the workshop, Mosaics by Jo reserves the right to cancel attendees with a full refund provided. Alternatively, attendee may request transfer of booking to an alternative date as available.
HEALTH & SAFETY & LIABILITY
Mosaics by Jo will provide aprons and goggles for the workshops and instructions on how to use the tools safely. Mosaics by Jo is not liable for any damage which occurs to persons, clothing or belongings following this briefing.
Everyone attending a workshop will be given a health and safety briefing at the commencement of the workshop. By attending the workshop, you agree to adhere to the requirements set out in the health and safety briefing, comply with all instructions given to you by Mosaics by Jo and uphold reasonable standards of cleanliness and behaviour.
Mosaics by Jo is not liable to you, and does not have responsibility for: accidental damage or injury resulting from the actions or omissions of you or anyone attending the workshops; or any loss of income or revenue, loss of profits or contracts; or any indirect or consequential loss or damage that you may suffer as a result of my breach of contract or negligence.
This does not exclude or limit in any way my liability for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any matter which it would be illegal for me to exclude my liability.
All participants attending workshops are responsible for their own belongings and Mosaics by Jo accepts no liability for any loss or damage to these.
PAYMENT AND REFUNDS
Full payment must be made at the time of booking. Your place on any selected mosaic workshop will only be reserved after full payment has been received.
Refunds are not possible. If you cannot attend a workshop you may send someone else in your place. Please let me know the name of the attendee in advance of the workshop.
